2025 Interior Design Trends
I hesitated to title this blog post with the word “trends” because I believe these choices are sweet and timeless in their own ways, but I guess—in reality—everything is a trend, right? One may linger longer than another, but eventually everything goes out…and eventually, everything comes back in. Here are five interior design trends for 2025 that I am leaning into for the year.
Custom Drapery
We all have windows in our homes, but this is our year to treat them as if they were a piece of art. The colors, patterns, and materials are endless once you start looking. A beautifully draped window can change the entire aesthetic of a room.
2. Café Curtains
While we’re on the topic of fabric shopping, let’s talk about café curtains. I’ve been seeing these pop up in pantries, bathrooms, and kitchens alike. What a great way to make storage spaces easily accessible and save some design dollars at the same time!
3. Cozy Cottage Aesthetic
Mmmm…natural wood stains, earthy tumbled stone beneath your feet, a mix of metals featuring antique details and varying finishes. She’s cute.
4. Oh So Sweet Wallpaper
Kid spaces are one of my favorites to design and I have just been completely falling in love with all of the delicate, sweet patterned papers that I’ve been seeing at showrooms around town. Paper a wall, the ceiling, or an entire room and you can immediately add that playful charm and character that every child lives for.
